Shopping Expedition (13)

A little belated, but better late than never...

It suddenly hit me a few days ago that July is nearly over, and before we all know it, fall will be here once again. And of course, this means fall clothing is arriving in stores. So what's a girl in need of new fall pieces to do? Go out and shop of course! :P

Purchase #1
This lovely bag was on sale and I simply could not say no. Black and sequins? Perfect for fall with a lot of my current outfits already. Plus, I'm not a fan of clutches (cute to look at, but completely impractical). This is the kind of bag that's dressy enough to go out with and will actually fit my wallet, cell phone, and maybe a pair of flats to change into after dancing the night away.

Purchase #2
This lovely necklace was just too irresistible. The phrase is so incredibly tongue in cheek that it kills me. It reads "I am an enfant terrible." Translated, it says "I am a terrible child." Cute right? Plus I love bringing some of my inner French into my wardrobe. (Oh yeah, I speak French by the way, for those who don't know!)

Purchase #3
I am in love with this jacket for several reasons: (1) it's by Gentle Fawn, a brand I've come to obsess over, (2) it fits me super well and hits perfectly for my size (I'm shy of 5'2", embarrassing much?), and (3) unlike many jackets, it is made to stretch and feels like a structured sweater when it's on. It is by far the most comfortable jacket I've ever worn. Also, black will go very well with fall and of course, matches with just about anything.

In other news, I am overwhelmed with advance readings for school, work, appointments, and managing this blog as well as two others. However, I work well under pressure, so I'm not too worried. I always manage to get everything done on time :)
